Description of the Job
The Analytical Service Manager (ASM) is the main customer contact point in relation to the laboratory. They will be responsible for validating analytical reports, ensuring results are correctly and timely reported, as well as sharing technical and regulatory information with clients. Provide support to the sales team in the commercial process when necessary.
Main Responsibilities:
- Participate in commercial meetings and negotiation with prospects or clients.
- Support the sales team in the preparation of technical proposals.
- Identify new business opportunities and retention strategies with existing customers.
- Technically validate quotations and configure account preferences and orders.
- Interpret and validate analytical reports and invoices.
- Respond to technical and regulatory inquiries.
- Coordinate internal technical services directed to clients.
Main Functions and Competencies:
- Daily control of pending activities to ensure compliance with deadlines.
- Generation and review of the content of reports in accordance with specific client requirements.
- Validation and sending of reports.
- Efficient processing and management of customer complaints.
- Collaboration with Customer Service and Business Analyst departments for the internal configuration of the LIMS system according to client needs.
- Development of continuous improvement proposals to optimize existing processes and systems.
Requirements
Requirements for the position:
- Minimum two years of work experience in a laboratory as a technician/assistant or in the laboratory's internal customer service department.
- Specific higher education (food technology, chemical technology, chemistry, biotechnology, environmental protection).
- Communicative level of English (C1).
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office package (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- High level of communication in different languages.
- Good organization of work, ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Ability to work under pressure.
We value:
- Knowledge of the PN-EN ISO 17025:2018 standard.
- Experience working with LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems) and CRM (Customer Relations Management) systems.
- Knowledge of other languages such as German, French, or Portuguese.
