Servicedesk IT Support

Ersta diakoni is Sweden’s largest idea-driven actor within healthcare and social care. We conduct healthcare, social work, research, and education, professionally and without profit motive.

Servicedesk is the IT department’s face towards the operations. Today, the group consists of six employees.

About the role

You will work with:

  • Receiving and handling IT-related issues via phone and case management system.
  • Troubleshooting and support of computers, printers, networks, and mobile devices.
  • Installation, configuration, and updating of software and operating systems.
  • User support in Microsoft 365, Windows, and other common applications.
  • Entitlement management and account management in Active Directory.
  • Documentation of issues, solutions, and routines according to current processes.
  • Collaborating with other IT teams to escalate and resolve more complex problems.
  • Contributing to the improvement of the servicedesk’s working methods and customer satisfaction.

The role extends until the end of March 2026 with the possibility of extension.

Who are you?

We are looking for a solution-oriented person with a genuine interest in IT and service. You thrive on helping others and have the ability to communicate clearly and pedagogically, both verbally and in writing. You are structured, responsible, and have an easy time collaborating with colleagues in different parts of the organization. Working in a high-paced environment with varying tasks is seen as stimulating, and you have a good ability to prioritize when needed.

Your experience

You have worked in servicedesk at 1st or 2nd line level for a couple of years and are familiar with providing support to users with varying technical competencies. You have experience handling issues in a structured case management system and are confident in troubleshooting within both Windows environment and Microsoft 365.

We are looking for you who have:

  • Experience with case management systems
  • Experience with troubleshooting in Office 365 and Windows
  • Experience with Microsoft Exchange
  • Previous work with user and entitlement management in Active Directory
  • Understanding the importance of documentation to facilitate future troubleshooting
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and thrive in a high-paced environment

Meriting are:

  • Post-secondary IT education or equivalent
  • Experience working in healthcare
  • Experience with Intune
  • Experience with advanced troubleshooting in Windows
  • Experience with troubleshooting in Microsoft 365 Admin Center
