Description
Major Accountabilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Quality Control Inspections
Review electrical installation plans for accuracy, feasibility, and alignment with event layouts and service orders.
- Conduct regular inspections of event spaces, installations, and floor activities, including setup, live operation, and teardown to verify that services meet safety, operational, and service requirements.
- Monitor the work of internal teams and contractors to ensure all services meet facility requirements, safety standards, and contractual obligations.
- Collaborate with Event Operations and vendor teams to resolve quality-related concerns in real time, ensuring timely, professional resolution.
Compliance Monitoring & Coordination
Serve as the on-site quality assurance liaison during events, responding to client- and electrical-related concerns professionally and promptly.
- Develop and maintain quality control procedures for event setups, breakdowns, and facility operations.
- Participate in pre-event planning discussions or site walkthroughs when required to clarify service requirements and expectations.
- Collaborate with Event Operations leadership to recommend improvements to electrical service workflows that impact event quality and efficiency.
- Monitor vendor compliance with service-level agreements (SLAs) and facility policies.
Reporting & Documentation
Support the development and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs), tracking systems, and other documentation related to quality checks and electrical setups.
- Document quality control inspection findings, action items, and corrective measures taken.
- Generate regular reports on event quality performance, highlighting trends and areas for improvement.
- Maintain up-to-date records of quality audits and inspections, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards.

Experience
Required
Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; and two to four years related experience and/or training working in large-scale venues, convention centers, or live event environments preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
