- Serve as the primary liaison between businesses and customers.
- Excel at matching customer skills/interests to open positions.
- Maintain up to date knowledge on the local labor market.
- Be able to communicate these complex ideas and processes to business leaders, community agencies, etc.
- Generate job leads for participants that focus on Career Pathways and life sustaining employment.
- Present various program services to business, such as: WIOA, OJT, ITA, Paid Work Experience, etc.
- Coordinate Paid Work Experience opportunities for participants in conjunction with business needs.
- Collect data and generate reports
- Enter all relevant participant and business engagement data within the system of record
- Assist with removing barriers for participants and for employment.
- Other duties as assigned
-Bachelor's Degree and/or a combination of education and work experience can be considered.
- Business or Sales experience preferred.
- Experience working with the underserved population.
- Must be able to interact with customers of all backgrounds and advocate on their behalf with employers
- Have a deep level of empathy and excellent listening skills.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Valid Driver's License and an automobile are required - this position may frequently travel work locations and partner agencies.
- Must be bilingual (English and Spanish)
