EOS Supplier Quality Engineer

This position is initially limited to 1.5 years due to a major project. We, EOS – world market leader for industrial 3D printing, are looking for support for our quality department in Krailling, with the option to be a resident at the supplier location (Upper Palatinate).

Your Mission

  • As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you are part of the value chain responsible for supplier management and take care of the selection, qualification, performance improvement, and development of our suppliers – together with purchasing, development, and quality assurance.
  • To minimize risks, you ensure serial quality through product and process audits as well as quality assurance agreements.
  • To analyze quality metrics and initiate improvement measures if necessary, and manage escalations.
  • You take care of the implementation of quality and safety requirements, especially in case of supplier changes or product changes.
  • In escalated claim cases, you support the initiation and monitoring of measures with the supplier.
  • Supporting regulatory and environmental EOS corporate goals rounds out your area of responsibility.

Your Talents

  • Completed technical or natural science studies, e.g. mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, ideally with additional qualifications in quality management
  • Experience in the quality management of an internationally operating industrial company (e.g. mechanical engineering, laser technology, additive manufacturing)
  • Confident in using quality tools (e.g. 8D, FMEA, audits, testing and laboratory technology)
  • Experience with SAP and CAQ systems
  • Clear and confident communication in German and English
  • Willingness to travel for supplier visits
