The domestic semiconductor industry is flourishing everywhere, and as a semiconductor hub in the western region, Xi'an has numerous heavyweight customers for the company. In order to better serve Entegris' customers and enable them to move faster and more steadily in advanced processes.

The Field Service Engineer will assist with solid/liqui/gas equipment installation, troubleshooting, solid/liquid/gas canister changes and facilitate prompt return of empty cylinders and canisters. Training will be provided to help the candidate increase competency and progress in the company. The successful candidate will provide professional quality of work and support to Entegris Customers.

In this role you will:

• Installs new or modified equipment at customer's facility to ensure full functionality according to specifications.
• Provides on-site technical assistance to help troubleshoot and repair equipment. On duty phone needed and standby for 24 hours on call.
• Maintains records of performance reports.
• Assists in the development of service handbooks and bulletins based on field investigations, engineering changes, and overall knowledge of product.
• Provides a communication link between the customer and the company to help ensure that effective service is provided to the customer.
• Ensure customer satisfaction with installation, troubleshooting, repair, preventive maintenance, engineering change upgrades, etc. of all Entegris equipment.
• Attend all personal and technical training to maintain a professional level of engineering expertise.
• Follow canister/cylinder checklist, ensure the standardization and safety of each operation.

Traits we believe make a strong candidate:

• Bachelor degree in Engineering, Communication, Chemistry, Electrical, Mechanical.
• Over 1 year experience in field support/service of similar experience with a capital equipment company required. TF/CMP/WET module EE experience is preferred. More than 5 years of equipment work experience is the best.
• Familiar with sub-Fab tool (LDS/SDS/CDS etc..).
• Familiar with the precursors used in fabs, able to ensure personal safety in complex environments.
• It is best to be familiar with the working principle, installation, and maintenance of the heating jacket.
• Electrician Certificate, Dangerous Goods Practitioner Certificate is plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication and customer interacting skills.
