Principal, Global Event Marketing
Entegris is currently seeking a Principal, Global Event Marketing to join our team. This position will be based in our Billerica, MA facility.
Are you passionate about planning and executing strategic events and deploying impactful event-based marketing initiatives? We're looking for an experienced, passionate event manager to join our team. In this role, you will have two key responsibilities: managing the execution of our US events and coordinating our participation in global events. Success in this role will be driven by effective collaboration across the organization, expert project management skills, a strong results-focused mindset, along with a bias for action and continuous improvement.
US Event Coordination and Execution
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner closely with Solutions Marketing managers to execute event plans from start to finish
- Coordinate logistics and marketing deliverables for events, including:
- Securing sponsorships and coordinating with venues
- Supporting booth messaging and graphics (based on team input)
- Managing production of printed collateral
- Organizing pre-event promotional assets (social, web, email, etc.)
- Tracking and reporting event ROI, with recommendations for future improvements
- Managing purchase orders and invoices for each event
- Working with procurement to get agreements and contracts signed
- Partner with Corporate Communications to execute event plans as needed
- Project and Stakeholder Management
- Maintain detailed project timelines, status reports, and budgets
- Communicate project requirements, status updates, and deadlines to internal stakeholders and external vendors
- Ensure alignment with marketing team strategies and messaging throughout execution
- Vendor Coordination
- Manage relationships with tradeshow vendors for booth design and production
- Ensure all assets meet specifications and are delivered on time
- Process Optimization
- Develop and document best practices to improve efficiency and consistency in execution
- Maintain a centralized events calendar with input from both marketing teams
- Collaborate with other marketing functions to refine the event management processes best practice
Global Event Coordination
Key Responsibilities:
- Partnering with regional field marketing teams and business units to establish global event priorities
- Communicating and reinforcing the event roadmap across relevant teams
- Defining key themes for each event and driving cross-functional alignment
- Collaborating across regions to set clear, measurable event goals
- Coordinating global tradeshow participation and execution
- Supporting regional marketing teams in event delivery as needed
- Ensuring consistency in messaging, themes, and goals across geographies
- Consolidating vendor relationships and contracts to drive efficiency and cost optimization
What We Seek
- BA/BS degree in marketing is strongly preferred
- 8 or more years planning/organizing events and developing brand communications
- Experience in B2B marketing and semiconductors a plus
- Pride in execution and an obsession with quality
- Strong project management experience working with complex projects in enterprise PM systems
- Ability to organize, prioritize and follow through with attention to detail on multiple, simultaneous projects
- Able to travel up to 20% of the time
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working in a team environment and strong collaboration skills
- Background managing relationships with external vendors
- Budget management and tracking skills
- CRM experience (HubSpot and/or SalesForce preferred)
- Excellent English writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented, accurate, and organized
- Critical thinker and problem solver who can navigate the issue-resolution with a calm demeanor
