About the role: As a Senior Software Engineer on the Enphase Solar O&M Engineering Team, your mission will be to design, develop, and maintain cloud-based software services & modules that cater to millions of users and process terabytes of data. This role requires hands-on development experience and the ability to design systems that handle real-world challenges. Enable Enphase to succeed in the Solar Energy domain by building application and services for various stakeholders of the company including homeowners, installers, and customer support.

What you will do:

• Develop robust, maintainable REST APIs and microservices.
• Collaborate with product managers to understand user requirements.
• Write unit tests, integration tests, and ensure overall code quality.
• Participate in technical reviews to identify potential risks and improvements.
• Research and implement solutions for scalability and system optimization.
• Ensure software security best practices are applied during development.
• Assist in the deployment and maintenance of production systems.

Who you are and what you bring:

• B.E/ B.Tech in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering from top tier college and >70% marks.
• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in Python and Postgres.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP).
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles.
• Solid communication and teamwork abilities.
