Job Description

You systematically address operational problems and work your way through data, processes, and systems like in a root cause analysis until it becomes clear where the error originates. On this basis, you develop solutions that make our operational processes more stable and efficient in the long term.

• You analyze, develop, and improve our operational processes - from the first analysis of specific cases to the successful implementation of sustainable solutions.
• You work your way into operational process cases, analyze data and process steps, and understand why certain processes in the energy system do not work as expected.
• Together with colleagues from Tech, Product, Operations, and Finance, you work cross-functionally to make processes more efficient and transparent.
• You develop key figures further and ensure that progress and improvements are visible and measurable.
• With tools like SQL, Power BI, or Python, you evaluate data and create a solid basis for good decisions.
• You recognize where there are bottlenecks or recurring problem cases and develop structured solutions for sustainable improvement of our processes together with the team.
• You accompany change and automation projects with the goal of making our processes even smoother and more efficient in the long term.
• You ensure that internal standards and regulatory requirements are always met.

Qualifications

• You have a completed degree in a technical, analytical, or economically related field - for example, in business engineering, business informatics, data analytics, business administration with a tech focus, STEM, or computer science.
• You have initial experience in the areas of operations, process management, business analytics, or consulting - or you are eager to develop in this environment.
• You enjoy working deeply into operational processes and complex individual cases to systematically follow up on where and why something does not work in the process.
• You are motivated to derive solutions from such insights that solve many cases at once through automation or process improvement.
• You confidently use data and process tools (e.g., SQL, Python, Power BI, BPMN, or similar tools) and use data to recognize patterns and make informed decisions.
• You work analytically, structured, and solution-oriented and enjoy understanding complex interrelations and developing pragmatic solutions.
• You have a good understanding of the interfaces between business and tech - and feel comfortable exchanging with developers, analysts, and other interface partners.
• You are communicative and explain complex topics so that they are understandable for different stakeholders - at the same time, you like to work in a team and share your knowledge.
• You are eager to learn and adaptable - switch sovereignly between topics, functions, and tools and always keep an overview.
• You have very good German language skills in speech and writing.
