Job Description

We are looking for a SEM Marketing Intern to join our Paid Search team, the group responsible for managing and optimizing advertising campaigns on Google Ads and other paid search channels.

The role will focus on advanced automation of advertising campaigns, leveraging Google Ads Scripts, advertising APIs, and AI tools like Claude Code, ChatGPT, Make, Python, and SQL. Previous SEM experience is not required, but strong analytical, technical, and experimental skills are essential.

Main Responsibilities

• Automate recurring SEM tasks using Google Ads Scripts (e.g., updating bids/budgets, performance alerts, keyword management).
• Write or adapt scripts in Python and Claude Code to interact with advertising APIs and scale account management activities.
• Develop automation workflows with no-code/low-code tools (Make, Zapier) and tool integration.
• Utilize generative AI (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude) to create ads, extensions, segments, clusters, and intelligent keywords.
• Document processes and contribute to building a modular and scalable system for automatic campaign optimization.

Qualifications

• Strong interest in digital advertising, automation, and AI applied to performance.
• Basic knowledge (even self-taught) of languages like JavaScript (for Google Ads Scripts), Python, or SQL.
• Curiosity and familiarity with AI tools like Claude Code, ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.
• Familiarity with concepts like REST APIs, JSON payloads, scraping, and automation.
• Excellent use of Excel/Google Sheets and comfort with data analysis.
• Good English for technical use (documentation, prompts, copy variants).
