Product Development Engineer Base Business

We are looking for a Product Development Engineer Base Business to strengthen our team within the Research and Development area. The role will report to the head of the department and will contribute to the continuity and evolution of the business through the updating of established product designs, the design of new devices, and the development of instrument boxes, actively collaborating with different company functions and external stakeholders while supporting regulatory and documentation activities.

Main Responsibilities:

• Updating technical drawings of established products (implantable and instruments) using PLM and CAD software
• Developing prototypes, new products, and customized tools
• Writing and reviewing technical documentation: design analysis, test protocols, technical papers, and labeling
• Supporting the definition of technical specifications and the preparation of regulatory documentation
• Collaborating with new product development teams and external stakeholders for the management of instrument box design
• Contributing to the registration activities of products in new markets and re-certification for the European market
• Interface with national and international suppliers
• Managing technical documentation through dedicated PLM and management systems

Education and Experience:

• Technical diploma (mechanical or mechatronic) or degree in mechanical or biomedical engineering

Technical Skills:

• Good ability to read and understand technical drawings
• Familiarity with basic regulatory and normative concepts (e.g., MDR)
• Knowledge of materials, mechanical processes, and CAD software
• Good command of the English language (written and spoken)
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
• Experience in writing technical and scientific documentation is considered a plus
