What You'll Do
Provides administrative support to relieve managers of complex details and advanced administrative duties. Performs normal office functions such as setting up and maintaining files; interviewing callers and making proper referrals; arranging meetings and conferences; and receiving, referring, or answering mail. Gathers, compiles and reports on information relevant to supervisor's assignment. Coordinates activities between departments and outside parties. Reviews drafts and finished documents for appropriate grammatical usage; answers questions relating to office operations and established policies and procedures. May be responsible for coordinating travel and submitting expenses. Work is generally of a critical or confidential nature. Little or no knowledge of the job, acquires job skills and procedures to complete routine tasks. Has little judgement and decision making under close supervision. Typically less than 1 year of experience.
