Job Purpose: Enersys is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Field Service Technician II to join our growing team! In this role, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers' equipment operates at peak performance. You will be responsible for providing timely and effective on-site service, maintenance, and equipment repair. You will play a key role in supporting critical infrastructure, focusing on our Energy Systems solutions for telecommunications, data centers, utilities, and other essential services.
Field Service Expertise: Travel to customer sites to perform basic installation, preventative maintenance, and basic repair of battery equipment. Perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime. Troubleshoot and diagnose common technical issues, replace defective parts, and reassemble equipment. Provide on-site technical assistance and training to customers on the safe operation of their equipment. Customer Focus: Build and maintain strong customer relationships by providing timely, efficient, and professional service. Effectively communicate with customers to understand their needs, explain technical details, and resolve concerns. Act as a liaison between the customer and the company to ensure customer satisfaction. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including OSHA, DOT Hazmat, and ISO9000 standards. Operate material handling equipment safely and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Complete all required safety and compliance training. Administration and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of service calls, maintenance activities, and customer interactions. Complete timely reports, including service reports, expense reports, and quality alerts. Manage company assets, including a service vehicle, parts inventory, tools, and test equipment.
