The position of Coordinator – Bulk Plant Ops is a key player of the sales team. This position requires a driven individual with strong business acumen, excellent communication, relationship-building skills, and a passion for growth.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Greet walk-in customers, drivers, and vendors in a professional manner.
Answer incoming calls and route to the appropriate department or staff.
Maintain front office organization and tidiness.
Determines prospects needs, providing economical solutions for each that demonstrate value, satisfying the prospect while achieving sales goals and Sunoco financial objectives.
Provides service and product information to customers.
Establishes relationships with existing businesses and capitalizes opportunities in target growth markets.
Effectively resolves all customer facing issues from Salesforce cases such as billing, loading, and drafting, and proactively handles customer complaints.
Utilizes Salesforce to create and maintain a strong sales pipeline with detailed customer information. Records opportunities through each phase of the sales funnel to effectively expand business with existing customers.
Clearly articulates ongoing activity with leads, opportunities, proposals made/excepted/rejected and anticipated closings.
Provides critical thinking to overcome objections to successfully complete negotiations.
Effectively utilizes technology, programs, and platforms (i.e. Salesforce, Right Angle, Concur, etc.)
Data entry of Delivery Tickets into the system accurately.
Updating customer pricing tool as directed by sales staff.
Ability to prepare basic sales reports and assist with Bulk Plant Inventory.
Represents Sunoco LP with credibility and integrity.
Effectively communicates with management and internal channels to align growth strategy by market, by customer, and by terminal supply point.
Additional ad hoc requests and duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
HS Diploma or GED
0-2 years of experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent communication, organization, and computer skills.
Knowledge of service station equipment.
Maintenance experience and/or Call center experience preferred.
Working Conditions:
Usually, normal office working conditions.
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
