HR Services Representative – Preboarding
Hourly Pay Range: $22.14 - $33.21 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
Position: HR Services Representative – Preboarding
Location: Warrenville, IL – with possible travel to other locations
Full Time/Part Time: Full Time (40 hours)
Hours: Monday-Friday, during normal business hours
What You Will Do:
- Manage pre-boarding process for all new hires and transferring employees
- Schedule pre-employment physicals and verify that new employees are cleared to commence employment by Employee Health Services
- Collect and verify references, licenses, and other certifications
- Assist with New Employee Orientation
- Perform all background checks including but not limited to references, employment and education verification, criminal history, driving record history, FACIS, IDPH registry, etc.
- Ensure all background check processes are documented and saved electronically in Perceptive Content
- Document new employees on tracking spreadsheet or other data recording tools as applicable
- Ensure timely completion of online onboarding tasks by new employees and conduct follow up communication as needed
What You Will Need:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education and work experience
- Certification: N/A
- Experience:
- 2+ years of customer service experience, preferably in a human resources related area such as Onboarding or Talent Acquisition
- Previous HR systems experience, such as Workday, is a plus
- Skills:
- Intermediate expertise of Microsoft office applications
- Excellent customer service and strong communications (oral and written) skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem solving abilities
- Must be able to work in a fast paced, changing environment handling multiple tasks efficiently and accurately
