Hourly Pay Range: $35.16 - $54.50 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Job Summary:
Works collaboratively within a team to implement and rollout new systems and continually finds opportunities to optimize existing systems and tools. Shapes organizational confidence in the accuracy of foundational data through robust data validation processes. Develops dynamic reports that provide key trending information for key operational leaders. Provides in-depth profitability analysis to support all levels of management, for their decision making. Also, assists in turning data into critical information and knowledge that can be used to make sound business decisions and to identify and support operational improvement and growth initiatives.
What You Will Do:
- Distributes and maintains financial data reports across the System. Meets with departments to educate, explain, and discuss opportunities for improvement, and ensures integrity of the data.
- Provides timely financial analysis as it relates to profitability across the System. Partners with department leaders to develop and support operational initiatives using data and analysis, along with identifying opportunities to improve profitability, or to reduce services. Finds solutions to data needs that will aid in the decision-making process.
- Builds strong relationships with leadership and others across the System. Effectively uses information to provide analysis and recommendations that strengthen these relationships and ultimately improve operating performance.
- Supports, trains, and utilizes the financial analytics software system. Participates in approval process by providing technical data, analytical and ad hoc analysis as requested. Maintains a thorough working knowledge of the processes to be able to explain variances and respond to inquiries. Ensures needed updates are tested and implemented correctly.
- Learns and utilizes key financial analytics software systems. Actively involved in the implementation of new systems and ensures all reporting needs and functionality are incorporated. Ensures the integrity of these financial systems is accurate and updated on a timely basis.
- Effectively uses databases to gather, sort and extract data necessary for the proper tracking of key performance indicators. Seeks out opportunities to enhance the decision support processes by improving the information housed within the system and the way in which it can be extracted.
- Distributes data to assist in the monthly financial close process.
- Distributes standardized reports to aid in the overall understanding and assessment of business performance. Seeks out opportunities to maintain and assist with dashboards for senior management that give daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual views of key operational statistics.
- Prepares ad hoc reporting, using financial, statistical, or patient visit data sources. Provides technical and informational assistance, as well as training, to others on the use of these sources.
- Assists with maintenance of the cost accounting system. Meets with departmental managers to determine cost for procedures across the system, while ensuring coordination with cost accounting processes.
- Assists with the submission of required financial and statistical surveys to third party and government agencies on an annual or quarterly basis.
- Proactively anticipates customer needs and provides clear, concise analytical data that is user friendly and easily understood. Thoroughly understands source of data and can easily explain how and why the information was derived and manipulated.
- Maintains knowledge of current trends and developments in field of expertise by reading appropriate books, journals and other literature and attending related seminars and conferences.
What You Will Need:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field
- Certification:
- Experience: Minimum of one year of previous data analytics, financial analysis, statistical or related experience
- Unique or Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on Excel
- Proficiency in financial software packages with the ability to learn new systems easily
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical mindset
- Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills; ability to convey information in a clear, focused, and concise manner
- Exercises a high level of confidentiality and sound judgment in accessing, using, and sharing sensitive information
- Takes initiative and ownership of issues, is responsible, organized, efficient, and focused on goals.
