Technical Documentation Specialist

In this role, your responsibilities will be:

1. Timely delivery of internal and external orders
2. Standardizing documentation and processes within technical documentation to minimize project related effort
3. Working on the preparation of technical documentation
4. Review and verification of customer specifications, ideally already during the quotation phase
5. Preparation of customer-relevant documentation, such as creating the required customer-specific documents (in particular interface drawings, dimensional drawings, and material lists) based on templates provided by the relevant engineering departments
6. Clarification of requirements and change requests with the customer
7. Creation and editing of operating and maintenance manuals
8. Editorial revision and plausibility checks of technical documentation and processes
9. Preparation of declarations of conformity
10. Commissioning translations and optimizing the translation strategy with the goal of significantly reducing costs
11. Creation of standard documents for general use (forms)
12. Creation and revision of technical data sheets
13. Support for other company departments—particularly Engineering, Quality, Sales, Manufacturing, Project Management, and Service—on all matters related to technical documentation

For this role, you will need:

• College degree or equivalent work experience is preferred, technical and business oriented
• English language knowledge is essential
• Strong user skills in MS-Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Power BI)

Preferred qualifications that set you apart:

• SAP MM package knowledge will be considered as a plus
• Mechanical knowledge/degree will be considered as a plus
• Flexibility for trainings/team meetings abroad (Korschenbroich, Germany)
• German language skills will be considered as a plus
• Experience in usage of editorial software will be considered as a plus
