Technical Support Engineer

In this role, your responsibilities will be:

As a member of the technical team, you will be responsible for the repairs of a large part of the RIDGID product range (thread cutting machines, detection equipment, and diagnostic equipment for sewers and drainage systems, …). You will provide technical support to end users/distributors, colleagues, and other service centers within Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. You will be responsible for diagnosing, creating quotes, planning the work, and performing repairs according to established priorities and procedures. You will manage the entire process in the ERP system. You will inform colleagues and customers and report to the Technical Services Manager.

Who you are:

Knowledge of electronics, electromechanics, and/or electricity is required. You are a technician who can work independently with a strong sense of responsibility and problem-solving ability. You are passionate about your work and enjoy giving new life to equipment.

For this role, you will need:

You possess a bachelor's degree and can present initial relevant experience. As a person, you are strongly service-minded and customer-oriented, dynamic, flexible, stress-resistant, and positive. You are communicative and this in both Dutch and English, with French being a plus.
