Project Engineer

Job Description

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Review power plant design data and project technical specifications.
• Learn and master the usage and application techniques of existing modeling tools.
• Construct logic and mathematical models—based on Power Plant P&IDs to meet specific project requirements.
• Collaborate closely with a team of 2 to 3 project engineers to perform model integration and commissioning; assist clients in completing acceptance testing for power plant simulation systems.
• Provide on-site technical support for simulation projects.
• Optimize and refine the model library.
• Acquire necessary knowledge regarding DCS systems while providing simulation support for APS projects.
• Complete other job assigned by Lead engineer/Engineering Manager.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Possess an educational background related to Thermal Energy and Power Engineering.
• Possess background knowledge related to thermal power plants, as well as knowledge of the operating principles of boilers and steam turbines.
• Understand the basic principles of power plant automation control systems.
• Willing to travel and capable of working efficiently under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

• Experience in simulation system development will be a plus.
• Experience with DCS systems is preferred.
• Experience in field service operations is preferred.
