Order Engineering Engineer
Order Engineering Engineer is responsible for reviewing order requirements and preparing the bill of material in line with the requirements specified by customer and inside sales.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Review incoming orders according to established guidelines.
- Check requirements in the Specification sheets, Delivery documents and other customer documents and ensure that the product selection is matching with these requirements.
- Verify options specified are compatible with the selected product model.
- Ensure special instructions in the order and/or attachments are brought together in the BOM in line with Oracle guidelines.
- Submit requests to product engineering teams for new products or parts. Follow up with the product engineering team to ensure that inputs are received as per dedication.
- Create special product structures to meet special construction.
- Co-ordinate with Inside sales team to resolve/clarify issues associated with orders.
- Raise issues to team leader in a timely manner to ensure that items are released to production without delay.
- Process new orders and change orders within the lead times specified as part of service level requirements while maintaining the Right-First-Time target level.
- Proficiency and visualization skills to create the correct bill of material with specification.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Prior experience of working in Oracle will be an advantage.
