Inside Sales Engineer

In this role, your responsibilities will be:

  • Provides leadership to a team of Inside Sales Engineers to meet stated Sales goals for the group. Build an encouraging environment that helps employees achieve their goals. Provide guidance and mentorship to drive sales growth. Foster effective communication between Inside and Outside sales teams. Collaborate with America Sales and Marketing on sales initiatives.
  • Develops processes for the effective delivery of customer support. This can include actively looking for chances to build relationships within the team and resolving customer support issues together with collaborators, partners, and team members.
  • Assures accurate and timely response to field sales and customers regarding orders, quotations, and other customer related activities.
  • Promotes effective selling behaviors and ensures the development of customer relations
  • Coordinates workloads, develops strategies, and implements plans to support both the customer's needs and Emerson's objectives
  • Maintains up-to-date measures that support timely and accurate customer service and sales growth
  • Passionate about encouraging a successful team environment through team building and individual development and recognition.

For this role, you will need:

  • B.S. in Engineering or Technical discipline
  • Minimum of six (6) years experience in a related field
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong business insight, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively

  • Experience managing direct reports
  • Proven track record and successful history of achieving goals and sales targets
