Software Engineer

As a Software Engineer, you will analyze business requirements, craft and develop software solutions, maintain existing applications, and continuously improve application reliability. This role combines programming expertise with skills to solve problems, improve system functionality, and ensure performance.

In this role, your responsibilities will be:

• Participate on the design, development, integration, and deployment of complex software solutions, ensuring alignment with architectural standards and business objectives.
• Drive resolution of critical issues across platforms and lead ongoing maintenance efforts to ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of applications.
• Implement guidelines in software development, testing, and continuous delivery.
• Apply deep knowledge of the software development process to deliver robust, secure, and maintainable solutions.
• Collaborate on building and improving SQL-based solutions for large-scale, critical applications, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
• Collaborate with DBAs and multi-functional teams to build, maintain, and improve relational database architectures.
• Develop and maintain detailed user documentation and architectural diagrams for internal and multi-functional use.
• Proactively identify technical risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement, and lead initiatives to address them.
• Collaborate with partners across engineering, product, and business units to align solutions with organizational goals.
• Keep up with emerging technologies and lead efforts to evaluate and adopt new tools, frameworks, and methodologies.

For this role, you will need:

• 3+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong emphasis on full stack.
• Consistent track record of delivering high-impact, scalable software solutions in complex environments.
• Proficient in SQL with experience in developing, optimizing, and solving complex queries, stored procedures, and applications that involve databases.
• Experience with relational databases such as Oracle and PostgreSQL.
• Hands-on experience or familiarity with Oracle APEX and PLSQL is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with Java Spring boot, Kubernetes, and Docker is highly beneficial.
• Knowledge of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, RESTful APIs, and modern front-end frameworks.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to technical and non-technical partners.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
