The Factory Automation business area supports process, hybrid, and single manufacturers in maximizing production and protecting personnel and the environment, while optimizing their energy and operating costs.

In this role, you are responsible for the following tasks:

• Developing new products for IoT-based automation solutions in the Factory Automation sector
• Ensuring technical requirements for Industry 4.0 products including fieldbus technology
• Conducting and analyzing basic investigations and concepts
• Designing and engineering series and standard products
• Optimizing manufacturing processes considering costs
• Creating technical documentation

For this role, you need:

• Completed engineering degree, specializing in mechatronics, electrical engineering, or computer science
• Programming skills in automation environment such as VHDL, PLC
• Experience in the fields of measurement, control, and regulation technology
• Experience in the area of system analysis or simulation is advantageous
• Good conceptual and analytical skills that allow you to quickly work your way into complex issues
• Independent and results-oriented working style in an agile environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as good German and English language skills

Preferred qualifications that distinguish you:

• Knowledge in special machine construction
• Fluent English
