Marketing Role At Embelly
This role is significant: it involves a lot of responsibility, development potential, and joy in shaping. At embelly, all marketing activities converge under your leadership โ you plan, manage, and take responsibility. You maintain the overview where others lose it; you keep track of the numbers while not losing sight of the essentials: how we are perceived as a brand and how we build trust and genuine customer loyalty. Importantly, you are not responsible for our performance marketing (no media buying, no ads, no influencer sourcing). Your focus lies on campaign planning, coordination, and implementation โ operationally with attention to detail and with increasing strategic responsibility.
Embelly is a Berlin-based health startup specializing in gut health. We offer holistic and scientifically-based help and support, consisting of health tests for home use, herbal supplements, alternative therapy approaches, and health advice.
Responsibilities
Campaign planning (60%)
- Plan and manage all campaigns โ from flash sales to black week, from the idea to the reporting.
- Connect e-commerce best practices with our themes and products.
- Orchestrate all channels so that they perfectly interlink: e-mail, WhatsApp, print mailings, social media, CRM flows.
Content & Asset Planning (15%)
- Manage all campaign assets โ from briefing to approval.
- Design themes, slogans, copy, and offers that resonate.
- Plan our Instagram feed in line with ongoing campaigns.
- Manage campaign assets in Shopify, Klaviyo, and ChatArmin.
Stakeholder Management (15%)
- Work closely with the founder as well as design, customer service, operations, finance, and CRM.
- Coordinate external partners (e.g., performance or CRM agencies) โ always up-to-date, on-brand, and cleanly aligned.
Brand Management (10%)
- Keep tone of voice & visual identity consistent across all channels.
- Build trust and brand loyalty through clear messages and value propositions.

Qualification
- At least 2 years of professional experience in marketing (E-commerce/startup context is advantageous)
- Generalist & organizational talent with a passion for the operational and a sense for strategy
- Ambitious, resilient, and receptive โ you finish things and learn rapidly
- Strong in language & conception : excellent German (C2/native language), confident English
- Numbers-savvy & structured : KPIs, uplifts, contribution margins โ you measure, understand, prioritize
- Detail-oriented without losing the big picture; proactive, hands-on, reliable
