Performs interventional radiographic procedures (primarily angiography) under the direction of a physician, utilizing ionizing radiation and other diagnostic methods; assists physician as required. Also responsible for processing all documentation.
Two years' special procedures/interventional experience required. Excellent customer service skills required. One year experience in neuro- interventional radiology required.
Current ARRT Certification (ICC and QVC only). Under extenuating circumstances, a grace period of no more than one month will be allowed for renewals of ARRT. Current California permit in Radiology Technology and Fluoroscopy. Health Care Provider CPR required. Venipuncture documentation of training required within one year of hire. If the Tech is required to perform sticks then competency must be demonstrated (per CDHP Health and Safety Code 106985). Annual 4 hours of stroke education required for those working at QVH.
