Performs interventional radiographic procedures (primarily angiography) under the direction of a physician, utilizing ionizing radiation and other diagnostic methods; assists physician as required. Also responsible for processing all documentation.
Two years' special procedures/interventional experience required. Excellent customer service skills required.
Current ARRT Certification (ICH and QVH only). Under extenuating circumstances, a grace period of no more than one month will be allowed for renewals of ARRT. Current California permit in Radiology Technology and Fluoroscopy. BLS required. Venipuncture documentation of training required within one year of hire. If the Tech is required to perform sticks then competency must be demonstrated (per CDHP Health and Safety Code 106985). Annual 4 hours of stroke education required for those working at QVH.
