Job Summary
Receives and prepares tissue specimens, performs routine and frozen section processing, performs special staining, assists or performs gross dissection, performs QC procedures, performs routine maintenance, uses computer systems, all according to established policies and procedures.
Minimum Education Requirement:
One year of accredited school of histology or 2 years related experience.
Minimum Experience Requirement:
Minimum of 2 years experience working in a medical office or medical environment preferred. Excellent customer service skills required.
Minimum License Requirement:
Certification of HT preferred.
