The Director of Maternal Child Services is accountable for the overall administration, organization, performance of the Maternal Child Service Line, which includes, but is not limited to, Perinatal Services, Labor and Delivery, Post-Partum, Neonatal Intensive Care, and Pediatrics. The Director strategically plans, creates, directs and monitors the infrastructure to support successful services and directs the clinical and business aspects of all programs offered by the service including financial performance, marketing, business development, human resources, productivity, short and long-range planning. The Director works in collaboration with the medical directors of the service line to implement the strategic plan and to ensure continuous quality improvements in the clinical/operational areas.
Bachelor's degree required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. Master's degree preferred.
Minimum three (3) years of acute care hospital experience required. Experience as a Registered Nurse in Labor in Delivery or Neonatal Intensive Care required.
Current California RN License required. BLS required. PALS, ACLS, and NRP required within 6 months of hire/transfer. Annual 1 hour of Stroke Education required. Certification in area of specialty preferred.

Pay Range:
$78.41 - $115.27
