Cardio Vascular Tech II - Full Time - Days - 8hr ICH

Echocardiographer

Performs and documents adult, neonatal/pediatric echocardiogram and vascular study as defined in departmental scope of care. Performs all modalities of stress testing, Holter testing and EKG. Patient populations will include neonatal/infant, child, adolescent, adult and geriatric. Also performs clerical functions for unit.

Job Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement: Graduate of an approved program in Cardiovascular Technology preferred and/or successful passing of the American Registry Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer examination. Computed literate.

Minimum Experience Requirement:

Two years of adult, pediatric and neonatal echocardiography and minimal of one year vascular experience in an acute care hospital or passing the practical and/or writing competency test. Ability to work with all age groups. Ability to develop positive interactions with co-workers and physicians. Excellent customer service skills required.

Minimum License Requirement:

BLS required.
