Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office

The National Sales & Retention Executive is responsible for both selling and renewing group business in national markets where the account is too small to justify use of a sales associate and an account management associate. New sales goals would typically be less than 60% of a normal Sales Account Executive and the renewal book of business would typically be less than 60% of a normal Account Manager.

How you will make an impact:

  1. Develops strategies and utilizes selling techniques to acquire new business sales (medical, wellness and specialty products) by managing pipeline and achieving results through sales process for national accounts.
  2. Generates lead activity and makes sales calls.
  3. Leverages understanding of the consultant (AON, Mercer, WTW) community and/or national account space to produce sales.
  4. Manages projects and meets with key stakeholders to determine scope and deliverables.
  5. Participates in and utilizes market knowledge in the request for proposal (RFP) production including geo access and disruption reporting.
  6. Develops and maintains consultant, broker and/or customer relationships.
  7. Travels to worksite and other locations as necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Requires a BA/BS and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
  • Sales License required or the ability to obtain within 60 days of hire.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

  • Direct selling or other sales experience preferred.
  • Salesforce experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Geo-access and disruption reporting.

For candidates working in person or virtually in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $100,740 to $157,680.
