Director Pharmacy Operations

This role requires associates to be in-office three days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Alternate locations may be considered.

The Director Pharmacy Operations is responsible for leadership and management of multi-site Home Delivery pharmacy operations within assigned markets, which includes dispensing and/or non-dispensing locations spanning across multiple states.

How you will make an impact:

  • Manages the budget, growth, profitability, and strategic priorities of the market, while delivering operational excellence and efficiency, clinical care and quality, compliance and accreditation, including enhancing patient experience, scaling the organization, and providing differentiated experiences for patients, providers, and clients.
  • Develops and implements strategies to optimize pharmacy operations and deliver best in class service.
  • Drives continuous improvement within operations, leveraging data analysis, technology, industry best practices, and innovation to enhance overall quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborates and consults with cross-functional partners to achieve operational goals, service levels, and KPI's resulting in measurable financial results.
  • Responsible for federal, state, and local compliance and adherence to regulatory standards for all pharmacies within assigned market.
  • Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires BA/BS in a related field and minimum 10 years' experience in healthcare, operations, Pharmacy or related field; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

  • MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years within a pharmacy environment preferred.
  • Lean Six Sigma preferred.
  • Pharmacy leadership experience preferred.
  • Multi-site experience preferred.
  • Retail or mail order pharmacy experience preferred.

For URAC accredited areas, the following professional competencies apply: Associates in this role are expected to have strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, problem-solving skills, facilitation skills, and analytical skills.

For candidates working in person or virtually in the below location(s), the salary* range for this specific position is $175,120 to $262,680.
