We are looking for a relationship driven sales professional to join our team as a Lead, Remarketing. In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of vehicle sales within your dedicated territory or region - Maryland, Virginia, or Pennsylvania. This includes representing all sales (10 – 12k vehicles annually) either on site or online, ensuring a consistent client experience with low cycle time and high sales values. This role manages relationships with their respective auctions and generates 3rd party leads via their relationships.
This role is dedicated to Maryland, Virginia, and Pennsylvania. We are only accepting applicants from these states at this time.
• Responsible for sale of all assets in region/territory, while maintaining department standards and KPIs. Adhering to company policies, including those related to floor pricing. Develop and maintain auction network and relationships through weekly or monthly auction attendance.
• Achieve team 3rd party and core revenue goals by personal representation at auction, maintaining Element best practices, relationship building with 3rd party clients and dealers, and generating 3rd party sales leads. Leads client and prospect meetings, including preparing materials and logistics.
• Maintain client satisfaction and retain core and 3rd party clients through inventory management
• Engage with team in meetings and projects. Participate in auction coverage for peers while they are on PTO.
• Participate in key initiatives and product roadmaps (ex: pricing, client specific procedures, new channel development)
• 5 – 8 years of experience in professional sales/marketing environment
• Ability to work under pressure, using tact, discretion, and good judgement to respond to all requests in a professional and courteous manner
• Demonstrated ability to function as an independently contributing team member to broader team and sales goals
• Ability to build and maintain a solid working knowledge of Auction and Element internal systems
• Demonstrated negotiation skills as well as an ability to learn and expand business knowledge in the Fleet and Automotive Industries
• Used vehicle sales industry preferred
• Knowledge of vehicle sales processes, procedures, and other departments that interact with those processes preferred
• CAR certification from ARA (Automotive Remarketing Alliance)
US Remote, but must be located in Maryland, Pennsylvania, or Virginia
The hiring base salary range for this position is $80,000 to $110,000 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individual's knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. Please note that the disclosed salary range is solely for candidates hired to perform work within this geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
