Senior Marketing Manager

Elementary Robotics is seeking a strategic and hands-on marketing leader to build and execute a comprehensive marketing function from the ground up. You'll work closely with leadership, engineering and sales to further position our technology as a brand leader, create high-impact campaigns, and own demand generation across channels. We're a cutting-edge AI startup that is revolutionizing how vision inspection can radically transform quality assurance across manufacturing sites worldwide, by detecting defects, reducing waste, and boosting efficiency across diverse industrial environments. Responsibilities:

  • Strategy and Positioning: Own and refine the company's current brand positioning, messaging, and value proposition for both industrial and enterprise buyers globally. Analyze competitors, customer feedback and market trends to inform strategic direction, influence product roadmaps, and create content, collateral and campaigns to drive business.
  • Demand Generation: Develop and execute full-funnel marketing campaigns to generate and nurture leads, incorporating feedback from the sales leads to drive effective strategies. Manage paid, organic, email, and event-based campaigns to support pipeline goals. Own KPIs across MQLs, SQLs and conversion rates in coordination with the sales team and leadership.
  • Content and Communications: Drive creation of compelling content: white papers, blog posts, case studies, videos, webinars, and sales collateral. Collaborate with product and technical teams to communicate complex AI technology in a clear and engaging way. Manage public relations, media outreach, customer advisory committee feedback loops, and thought leadership efforts. Continue driving improvements to our website.
  • Product Marketing: Partner with product and engineering teams to launch new features and define positioning, messaging, and competitive differentiation. Enable sales with tools, training, and content aligned to buyer needs.
  • Event and Community: Plan and execute our presence at trade shows, webinars, and industry events. Build relationships with key influencers, partners, and communities in the AI and industrial automation space.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of B2B marketing experience, ideally in the machine vision, automation, or technology industry and/or AI/ML startups with hybrid product and software.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful demand gen strategies.
  • Experience marketing to technical audiences (engineers, plant managers, operations leaders).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to understand and articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Strong understanding of marketing analytics, Salesforce and automation tools.
  • Self-starter with a sense of humor, who thrives in a fast paced, dynamic, sometimes undefined startup environment.
  • Preferred, but not required be located in/around our HQ in South Pasadena, CA.
  • Nice to have qualifications: Familiarity with compliance, QA, and deployment processes in manufacturing or logistics.
