Product Operations And R&D Associate

The Product Operations & R&D Associate will support Ekwa's Product Management team by owning structured research, feasibility analysis, experimentation, and product operations initiatives end-to-end. This role sits at the intersection of research, execution, and operational enablement. It is designed for candidates who can work independently, think clearly through ambiguity, and take ownership of initiatives from idea validation through pilot execution and documentation.

This is not a coordination-only or trainee role. Candidates are expected to contribute with minimal supervision after onboarding.

Job Responsibilities

1. Own assigned R&D and product-operations initiatives end-to-end
2. Conduct structured research and feasibility assessments for AI, automation, and service improvement ideas
3. Translate ambiguous or loosely defined problems into clear assumptions, plans, and execution steps
4. Evaluate initiatives across operational impact, scalability, risks, and dependencies
5. Produce high-quality documentation, including research briefs, feasibility reports, SOPs, and summaries
6. Coordinate pilots or proof-of-concepts with internal stakeholders
7. Track outcomes against defined success criteria and document learnings
8. Maintain accurate updates across PM tools and documentation systems (e.g., Monday.com, Asana, ClickUp)
9. Communicate progress, risks, blockers, and decisions clearly and proactively
10. Contribute to improving internal frameworks, workflows, and evaluation criteria

Expected Qualifications & Skills

Required:

• 1–3 years of experience in product operations, research, project management, business analysis, or a related role
• Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate feasibility and risks.
• Ability to think through ambiguity and define structure where none exists
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for professional remote work
• Ability to produce clear, structured documentation (reports, SOPs, FAQs, summaries)
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision
• Familiarity with PM or operations tools (e.g., ClickUp, Notion, Asana, or similar)
• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., ClickUp, Asana, Monday.com, or similar).

Preferred:

• Experience in service-based industries (digital marketing, healthcare services, SaaS)
• Prior remote work experience
• Exposure to AI, automation, or data-driven projects.
