Issa Estate is a Romanian entrepreneurial group with activities in real estate, vinification & gastronomy (through Crama La Salina and award-winning ISSA wines), premium hospitality (ISSA Resort), and an equestrian center. Issa Estate is looking for a Jr. HR Admin & Payroll. The role offers operational support in human resource administrative activities and payroll, contributing to the updating of personnel documents, centralization of timesheets, and preparation of the necessary data for the payroll process. The position supports the proper and timely execution of specific activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal procedures.

This is a full-time, on-site position, working from 8:00 to 17:00, at the office in Cluj (Campia Turzii nr. 217), with availability for regular weekly trips to Turda.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Offer support in the preparation and updating of work-related documentation, such as individual employment contracts, additional acts, decisions, job descriptions, etc.
  • Support the management of documents necessary for hiring and termination of employment contracts (e.g., trial period forms, settlement notes).
  • Contribute to the organization and updating of personnel files, in accordance with legal provisions and internal procedures.
  • Assist in the centralization of information related to rest breaks, special events, and other documents relevant to employee activities.
  • Offer support in preparing documentation related to the immigration of foreign workers (work permits, advisories, etc.). Issue, upon request, documents for employees.
  • Support the annual HR processes, such as performance management or training, and contribute to the collection and reporting of human resource indicators (e.g., number of employees, fluctuation, retention rate, etc.).
  • Verify monthly timesheets: correct completion, approvals, vacation records, and overtime hours.
  • Know basic aspects of the Labor Code applicable to personnel administration and payroll processes.
  • Have knowledge of minimum wages, contributions, and related taxes for employees.
  • Have knowledge and offer support in preparing salary calculations.

Requirements:

  • Higher education completed.
  • 1-2 years of experience in the human resources field (with a focus on personnel administration and payroll).
  • Specific knowledge about labor legislation as well as policies and processes in the human resources field.
  • Experience in the field of immigration/onboarding foreign workers – an advantage.
  • Good skills in using the Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Attention to detail and a passion for data accuracy.
  • Good organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work inter-departmentally.
