- The Data Engineer will be responsible for monitoring production machine learning systems to ensure their performance and reliability.

- The engineer will manage and curate datasets for training machine learning models, utilizing the extensive sensor data collected by Eight Sleep.
- Building tools to monitor incoming sensor data from clinical studies will also be a key responsibility.
- The position is a full-time, 6-month contract and is eligible for remote work from the US, Canada, or LATAM.

- The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in data engineering, demonstrating a solid foundation in the field.
- Proficiency in Python is essential, with experience in libraries such as NumPy, SciPy, and Pandas being highly valued.
- Familiarity with AWS services relevant to machine learning and data engineering, such as EC2, SageMaker, S3, and Kinesis, is required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities are crucial for success in this role.
