- The intern will be responsible for troubleshooting issues reported by customers and analyzing data from field units.
- The role involves direct communication with customers to understand failures and work with the engineering team to identify root causes and corrective actions.
- The intern will support prototyping efforts using in-house and external vendors for tasks such as 3D printing, laser cutting, and machining.
- Various testing on prototypes will be conducted to ensure that designs meet product goals, including thermal and reliability testing.
- This internship is a 10-week position that requires on-site presence in the San Francisco office and is available immediately.

- The ideal candidate should possess strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively troubleshoot and collaborate with the engineering team.
- Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, and software systems is essential to understand potential causes of failures in hardware products.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling software, such as Solidworks or ProEngineer, is required, with additional simulation experience being a bonus.
- A background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent field, is necessary for this role.
- The candidate should be detail-oriented and capable of performing root cause analysis and quality measuring techniques.
