Junior Site Reliability Engineer

At Edge & Node, we're focused on building The Graph, a decentralized protocol for accessing and organizing the world's knowledge and information. Subgraphs, a core technology developed by Edge & Node to access blockchain data, are widely used across web3 to power decentralized applications.

We're a tight-knit, efficient team with a bias for action and a strong sense of ownership. Our teams have autonomy, low ego, and are trusted to drive projects end to end. We care deeply about building infrastructure for web3 use cases and collaborate across disciplines to make that happen. If you're passionate about infrastructure that has a real impact on our users, enjoy solving hard problems, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, you'll feel right at home.

The Engineering Operations team, including Site Reliability, works closely with engineering teams across Edge & Node to ensure the services we operate are reliable, performant, predictable, and secure. We are on a mission to take our service delivery to the next level.

About the Role: We're looking for a Junior Site Reliability Engineer to help deliver, deploy, and optimize custom installations of our product for our customers and partners. You'll work at the intersection of infrastructure and implementation; bridging the gap between product engineering and real-world operations.

This role requires flexibility to travel to customer sites as needed to support deployments, troubleshoot issues, and work directly with technical teams in the field. You'll be responsible for configuring, deploying, and maintaining systems in both cloud and on-prem environments, potentially often onsite at customer locations. You'll help automate setup processes, improve observability, and ensure high availability for deployments. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their DevOps or SRE career who wants to gain hands-on experience across the stack and see their work directly impact production systems.

What You'll Do

  • Deploy and configure Amp (new product) environments across customer infrastructure (cloud, hybrid, or on-prem)
  • Automate setup, configuration, and maintenance using Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Helm, etc.)
  • Implement and support CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery and integration
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and tune deployed systems for reliability and performance
  • Collaborate with internal engineering teams to identify and resolve integration or scaling issues
  • Contribute to deployment playbooks, automation scripts, and operational documentation
  • Participate in on-call rotations and incident response with guidance from senior engineers
  • Continuously improve deployment processes through automation, tooling, and observability enhancements

What We're Looking For

  • 1–3 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, SRE, or software/infrastructure engineering
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Google Cloud, AWS, or similar) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Helm
  • Understanding of CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Linux systems, networking fundamentals, and basic security principles
  • Exposure to observability and monitoring stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, etc.)
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn new technologies and deployment environments
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially in remote or cross-functional settings
  • Interest in web3 or distributed systems (a plus, but not required)

Why You'll Love This Role

You'll work on real-world deployments that challenge your technical skills, gain exposure to modern DevOps tooling and cloud infrastructure, and learn directly from experienced engineers. This is an opportunity to grow into a reliability-focused engineer while helping bring Amp to production-grade scale.
