The Plant Mechanical Engineer will support OEM manufacturing by managing suppliers, facilitating automotive assembly plant production, and leading workstation readiness. Other duties include managing general assembly tooling and equipment.

This position requires roughly 80% travel to various supplier and OEM facilities.

This is how you will take us forward:

  • Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering highly preferred (BSME)
  • 5 plus years of experience
  • Willingness to travel up to 80% to various supplier and OEM facilities
  • Proven experience managing automotive suppliers.
  • Automotive assembly plant production experience
  • Strong knowledge of workstation readiness
  • Experience in general assembly tooling and equipment.
  • Automotive experience needed
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Highly analytical and detail-oriented
