Job Title

EDAG (Production Solutions group) is your perfect partner for the planning, design, optimization and implementation of greenfield and brownfield manufacturing facilities, associated support facilities, and manufacturing / process equipment and systems.

With a workforce of approx. 1,300 employees, and the knowledge and experience we have gained over several decades, we are multi-disciplinary innovators in the development of production plants. We are familiar with the challenges, legal requirements and, of course, all relevant issues relating to our customers' production, and are able to provide optimum advice and active support for the reorganization or optimization of their plants. As engineers, we speak the same language as our customers and understand their problems and requirements.

It goes without saying that we are fully committed to cost efficiency and the use of state-of-the-art processes and technologies. We transfer this know-how equally to our three business fields: automotive solutions, industrial solutions and mobility solutions. Worldwide.

This is how you will grow:

  • Improving / continuous improvement projects working hand-in-hand with MFE personnel
  • Example projects: camera integrations, poke-yoke / sensor installations, updating PLC programming, etc.
  • Troubleshooting machine downtime / PLC issues with IT and Maintenance Controls teams

This is how you will take us forward:

  • Preferred B.S. Engineering (or equivalent experience working in engineering role for 5+ years)
  • Siemens PLC experience / training
  • Experience with programming / setup of camera systems (Keyence, Cognex, etc.)
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Knowledge of SCADA systems and how they function
  • Knowledge of MES systems/layer and how they function
  • Ability to read electrical drawings
  • SQL Server Management Studio querying
  • Ideally a fast learner, as we will have to train on a proprietary controls standard
  • Siemens TIA Portal experience (mostly troubleshooting, ground up programming not required)
  • Vision system experience (ideally Keyence)
