Job Description
This role focuses on executing validation and verification tests, defining acceptance criteria, and ensuring regulatory compliance across closures and interior systems.
- Execute validation and verification tests on body system components and subsystems.
- Define test methods, acceptance criteria, and test environments.
- Document findings and provide root cause analysis when required.
- Work with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to troubleshoot and resolve test failures.
- Document test results in detailed engineering reports.
- Maintain traceability of issues and test findings through issue tracking systems (e.g.: JIRA).
- Present test results to internal stakeholders and participate in design reviews.
- Manage, track, and deliver any required test property updates and retrofits.
- Drive delivery of testing to project milestones.
- Ensure quality test reports and proper data collection.
- Deliver efficient test property usage through re-use strategies.
- Communicate all test results to the cross-functional team.
Requirements
- Candidates should have a good knowledge and be familiar with Automotive closures and Interior test requirements and standards.
- Automotive OEM experience
- Engineering Degree needed
