Technical Plant Operator

Ecolab is looking for men and women to work as Technical Plant Operator for water treatment and join the Nalco Water team leader in the industry. What you will do:

• Perform physical and chemical analysis
• Interpret results
• Fill out daily process log and checklist
• Execute corrective actions in chemical treatment
• Monitor osmosis equipment, treatment plant, biological and cooling systems
• Water sampling
• Relationship with clients and supervisors for continuous improvement
• Order and clean the areas

Position details:

• Work location: San Nicolas de los Garza, N.L.
• Schedule and shifts: Rotating 8-hour shifts (morning, evening, night)

Minimum requirements:

• High School Diploma, Technical Degree, or related field
• 6 months of experience working in a water treatment plant

Physical requirements:

• Ability to lift/push/carry 50 kilos at chest height
• Ability to access and feel comfortable working in a variety of conditions (confined spaces, wet and/or dusty places, freezing and hot conditions)
• Ability to physically perform the essential duties of the position which include lifting, bending, kneeling, crouching, stretching, maintaining balance, etc.

Desired requirements:

• Knowledge of boiler and cooling system
• Experience in problem-solving and maintenance of industrial equipment
• Experience in water treatment or specialized chemical industry.
• Knowledge of boiler work, cooling towers, and wastewater treatment systems.
