Account Manager For Food Production Sterilization

Join Ecolab's leading team in the Food and Beverage sector as an Account Manager. We are expanding food safety and product quality, enhancing sustainability, and driving operational efficiency. We offer cleaning and sterilization solutions for food, beverage, and dairy production environments through a dual focus on sales and technical assistance/consulting to new and existing clients. As strong business partners, Ecolab works with clients to develop sterilization plans and programs, evaluate processes and procedures, solve technical problems, and identify and implement operational efficiencies.

Your Activities:

  • Build a solid understanding of Ecolab products, customer operations, and business objectives, as well as applicable government regulations;
  • Develop strategic work plans to meet sales goals and client service/consulting appointments with new and existing clients;
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations on Ecolab's innovative products, equipment, and services;
  • Provide industry expertise to customers in terms of sterilization, safety, quality, and operations; including assisting in sterilization plans and programs, standard operating procedures, evaluating processes and procedures, identifying and implementing operational efficiencies, and training employees;
  • Manage Ecolab products and equipment; participate in equipment installations, observe and test equipment and product performance, repair or adjust equipment, adjust chemical concentration levels, monitor product inventories, and place orders;
  • Implement agreed-upon corporate account commitments and proactively inform the Corporate Account Manager (CAM's) about results, challenges, and initiatives;
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of plant teams; build strong relationships and commercial networks;
  • Follow Ecolab's safety guidelines and incident reporting requirements.

Job Details:

  • Territory coverage will include: CITIES/AREA

  • Training involving a combination of classroom sessions and practical assessments with periodic evaluations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education in dairy, food, or agricultural sciences, engineering, or chemistry.
  • 2 years of technical sales experience in any of the following: meats, processed foods, dairy, poultry, or the beverage and brewery sector.
  • Possess a valid driver's license.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Disposition and ability to perform car travel throughout the territory, including periodic overnight trips, may be required to be on call during off-hours and on weekends when necessary.
  • No immigration support is provided for this position.

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to access and be comfortable with work in various conditions and perform the essential duties of the role.
  • Must pass a drug test and physical examination.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to sell value-added products to customers.
  • Aptitude and confidence to deal with large national and multinational clients;
  • General mechanical ability;
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently.
