The Team

Bij Ebury werken ongeveer 50 sales professionals verdeeld over 5 teams voor onze Nederlandse klanten. Ieder team wordt geleid door een Head of Desk. De vijf Head of Desks worden aangestuurd door de Head of Sales. Voor meerdere teams zijn we nu op zoek naar Business Developers! Samen met jou kijken we in welk team je het beste past, zodat je het beste uit jezelf kan halen.

The Role And Responsibilities

As Business Developer, you are responsible for expanding the client base of Ebury. You search for potential clients via LinkedIn, your own network, or lists of relevant exchanges. You approach them and make a (telephone) appointment.

During the conversation with a potential client, you ensure that you listen well to the client's challenges. This is to provide the best possible advice with the aim of making the company a client of Ebury. You learn about the business of your clients, identify important problems and challenges, and learn how Ebury's solutions and services can solve these.

In addition, you are regularly traveling to meetings with prospects. You are responsible for the entire process: from the first contact to onboarding of our new customers. You also go to exchanges to find new contacts. Own initiative and creative ways to find new relationships or to tap new markets are highly valued.

Your Profile

• You have experience in a commercial environment, for example in an internship or part-time job. If you have more experience and for example one year of work experience, you are of course also welcome.
• You are willing to pick up the phone and a rejection does not scare you.
• You are interested in the financial markets and international trade.
• You speak fluent Dutch and are familiar with business English.
• You are ambitious and flexible: this fits in our fast-paced and dynamic culture.
