The Buyer & Community Engineering (BCE) team owns all landing experiences for eBay buyers. This role works within BCE, reporting to the Senior Director of the organization. As Sr. Manager, Engineering Excellence you will help raise the bar on eBay's engineering practice through ensuring the engineering teams are operating effectively and enabled across the product lifecycle. We require a creative, inspiring and driven team member who will build the structure and rigor to ensure that dozens of engineering teams are effective and healthy. You'll help eBay deliver software faster, while steadily improving quality and reliability metrics. You will be a strong voice for Lean, DevOps, and other industry best practices, by training leaders, engineers, and others to integrate these practices at eBay. This position requires a deep understanding of Lean and DevOps, knowledge of product life cycle, ability to influence, agile execution and a strong internal sense of the appropriate bar for production metrics - while maintaining a strategic outlook on where the organization is trying to go.

The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:
$210,400 - $280,900
Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
