About The Team And The Role

eBay, Inc. seeks Software Engineer 3 in San Jose, CA.

What You Will Accomplish

Job duties: Responsible for design, enhancement, and maintenance automation solutions for IT services & solutions team at eBay that manages in eBay site operations. Work with clients to gather requirements, design optimized solutions, document proposals, build solutions using a wide variety of technology and tools such as BluePrism, Azure, ServiceNow, Confluence, Jira, and Truesight Orchestration. Analyze data to re-engineer process and manage implementation plans for those, which majorly contribute to the effective team operations and client satisfaction. Spearhead communications with clients and managers to identify key performance indicators for process enhancement along with creating PDD and SDD documents. Telecommuting permitted – work may be performed from anywhere in the US.

What You Will Bring

Minimum requirements: Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a closely related field plus two years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

Special skill requirements:

  • Robotic Process Automation tools (Blue Prism & UiPath) (2 years)
  • Python, PySpark (2 years)
  • Machine Learning (1 years)
  • Alteryx (1 years)
  • Data Visualization (Tableau, PowerBI) (2 years)
  • Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) (2 years)
  • .Net, SQL, HTML, OCR (Optical Character Recognition) (2 years)

Salary: $226,138.00-280,900.00 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Additional details: Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
