We're seeking an outstanding leader to drive customer growth and marketplace operations for eBay UK. Reporting to the UK General Manager, this high-profile commercial role will sit on the UK Leadership Team and lead the teams responsible for B2 and Buyer growth, team culture, and long-term strategy.
You'll lead with curiosity, composure, and inclusivity — encouraging teams to think big and deliver outstanding customer experiences. Partnering across global functions, you'll champion the needs of UK consumer and small-business sellers and ensure their success remains central to eBay's strategy.
What You Will Accomplish...
- Own the three-year growth strategy for UK business sellers, translating it into actionable annual plans with clear goals and resource alignment.
- Drive acquisition and lifecycle programs that empower small businesses and deliver year-over-year revenue growth.
- Use data and insights to optimise the seller experience and embed scalable, continuous improvement across all programmes.
- Represent eBay externally — with sellers, government, and industry partners — ensuring our role as a trusted marketplace leader.
- Partner with global, regulatory, and comms teams to align strategy, reduce friction, and maintain eBay's reputation as a customer-first brand.
- Lead the team responsible for Buyer Growth ensuring we understand the dynamics driving impacting results, and identifying the levers we have to improve them.
- Oversee incentives and trading plans collaborating with global teams to improve ROI and their delivery against our strategic priorities.
- Lead, develop, and inspire a multi-functional team, measuring performance rigorously and fostering a culture of excellence and inclusion.
