The eBay Network Critical Infrastructure & Engineering software team is looking for a strong developer with a passion for infrastructure lifecycle management and implementing creative solutions.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Lead a project's entire lifecycle including requirements gathering, design, development, and deployment.
- Infrastructure lifecycle automation and deployment
- Maintain software standards and unit test coverage
- Implement features and perform bug fixes in existing code base
- Work with engineers to develop the most optimal solution
- Documentation of software
- Data modeling
Requirements:
- 4+ years of software development experience
- 1-2 years experience leading projects or functional areas
- Experience in the following languages: Java, Python
- Experience in CI/CD practices
- Experience with time-series database technologies (TSDB)
- Experience with software development standards (SDLC)
- Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes
- Preferable: Strong knowledge of Nexus Dashboard Fabric Controller
- Preferable: Experience using Adobe Flex
- Preferable: Solid understanding of routing and switching, TCP/IP protocol stack
- Working knowledge of UNIX/Linux environments
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Good theoretical foundation in computer science
