The eBay Network Critical Infrastructure & Engineering software team is looking for a strong developer with a passion for infrastructure lifecycle management and implementing creative solutions.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Lead a project's entire lifecycle including requirements gathering, design, development, and deployment.
• Infrastructure lifecycle automation and deployment
• Maintain software standards and unit test coverage
• Implement features and perform bug fixes in existing code base
• Work with engineers to develop the most optimal solution
• Documentation of software
• Data modeling

Requirements:

• 4+ years of software development experience
• 1-2 years experience leading projects or functional areas
• Experience in the following languages: Java, Python
• Experience in CI/CD practices
• Experience with time-series database technologies (TSDB)
• Experience with software development standards (SDLC)
• Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes
• Preferable: Strong knowledge of Nexus Dashboard Fabric Controller
• Preferable: Experience using Adobe Flex
• Preferable: Solid understanding of routing and switching, TCP/IP protocol stack
• Working knowledge of UNIX/Linux environments
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Good theoretical foundation in computer science
