Positions main responsibility would be to work with cross functional global/local teams and lead the development of Systems engineering strategies and execute the Low Voltage and Power Conversion Systems for eMobility as per requirements of end Customer & project complying with Eaton Pro-Launch process. The Lead engineer shall co-ordinates multi-disciplined engineering projects for Systems engineering and serves as an expert resource for other engineers, test lab team, identify opportunities in projects & mentor engineers for disclosures/patent applications, technical paper publication & presentations in external bodies. The position requires the incumbent to be highly proficient in Engineering skills, Requirements management, System architecture for HV/LV DCDC, verification and validation skills, standards, project management and documentation with the ability to manage multiple projects in parallel, thus enabling rapid development and execution validation plans.

Minimum education for this position is a Bachelor / Masters in Electronics/Electrical Engineering/Mechanical, with demonstrated experience in technical engineering organization. Min 5 years of total experience of System Engineering in Requirements engineering, electric Vehicle and commercial vehicle component System design, development, validation & launch
Skills:
Vehicle industry exposure, electric vehicle application knowledge and experience. Responsible to execute full Systems Engineering development life cycle including requirements management, design, development, verification & validation, qualification & certification testing in eMobility Low Voltage and Power Conversion Product line. Execute system engineering work while driving continuous improvement to fulfil project, system KPIs and meet customer satisfaction. Should have experience working with customer requirements management (JAZZ experience preferred). Experience in system modeling and validation while dealing with Multiphysics in Electromechanical & Electric / Electronics Like LV/HV DCDC, Inverter, risk management to enable decision making by using robust design methodologies. DFSS GB certification / deployment is preferred. Execute System Architecture ideas and demonstrate feasibility through relevant engineering calculations / predictions. Model Based System Engineering (CAMEO tool) experience preferred. Execute Multiphysics system simulations through MATLAB Simulink software complying with the specifications. Drive digital transformation by leveraging data, insights and digital tools. Drive and execute a new NPI & NTI programs by system Development through Eaton PRO-Launch / Pre-launch system Engineering processes. Should have proficiency in advanced problem-solving techniques. System Engineering, MBSE, Requirements management, System Architecture, MATLAB/Simulink, PSpice, Mathcad, Verification & validation.
