Product Line Sales Manager

As Product Line Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving profitable growth of Eaton's Life Safety portfolio across the assigned region through the country sales organizations. This is a senior commercial leadership role focused on strategy, enablement, and execution, working closely with country sales teams, product line leaders, and operational partners.
You will define and implement regional business development initiatives, ensuring consistent go-to-market execution, portfolio penetration, and alignment with Eaton's strategic priorities. Success in this role is achieved through influence, collaboration, and commercial leadership.
What You'll Do:
- Own and drive end-to-end sales growth and profit plan execution for the Life Safety product lines across the region.
- Define, communicate, and execute regional growth and business development strategies, aligned with market trends and Eaton's Life Safety roadmaps.
- Enable sales teams to grow existing customers base by leveraging Eaton's full Life Safety portfolio, with particular focus on larger Tier 1 / Tier 2 projects and Digital, Connected, and Cyber Security-enabled solutions.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across Fire Alarm and Emergency Lighting through structured pipelines and strategic initiatives.
- Act as a key interface between product line, country sales, and operational teams to ensure aligned priorities and effective execution.
- Support and guide the implementation of pricing strategies across customers and sales organizations in line with commercial objectives.
- Embed and champion Eaton standard processes, including Salesforce and pipeline management tools, ensuring data quality and insight-driven decision making.
- Facilitate internal and partner engagement activities, including sales meetings, regional events, and strategic reviews.
- Travel across the assigned region as required (typically minimum once per quarter).
Qualifications:
- Degree or equivalent professional experience. Engineering degree is a plus.
- 10+ years of experience within the Life Safety market or a closely related industry.
- Strong background in commercial, product line, or sales enablement roles within a matrix organization.
Skills:
- Proven commercial experience supporting or leading large accounts through distributors and systems integrators (internal enablement perspective).
- Strong working knowledge of Life Safety solutions, standards, and market dynamics.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and engage internal stakeholders across multiple countries and functions.
- Track record of driving sales performance through others, rather than direct selling.
- Strong analytical mindset with a consistent commitment to ethical business practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and coordination skills.
- Clear and confident verbal and written communication, with strong presentation capability.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while independently planning and executing initiatives.
